Since
the inception of iEARN-Lebanon, MP Bahia Hariri endorsed its
activities requesting to introduce iEARN projects in every school
in Lebanon. Today,
she
is supporting iEARN-Arabia in consolidating its structure
and projects as part of its advisory board.

First Lady
Suzanne Mubarak received the "Making a Difference Award presented
by Dr. Edwin Gragert, iEARN US Executive Director for her support
to expand iEARN projects in participation in every governorate in
Egypt.
iEARN Arabia is managed and staffed
from the Arab world by Arab nationals working in partnership with
their global counterparts. Offices are currently staffed in
Beirut, Cairo and Rabat, and more set to open in the coming months
and years. iEARN Arabia will have the following support structure:
The iEARN Arabia Advisory Council
Will include leading figures in Arab education of
the highest caliber. The Advisory Council will convene annually
and oversea fundraising operations in conjunction with the iEARN
Arabia Governing Board, and key donors.
The iEARN Arabia Business and Education
Partnership
Is a
powerful collection of leaders in business and the field of
education-technology who work together to strengthen the
cutting-edge work of iEARN Arabia. Members of the Partnership
are invited to attend special member’s only events and key
segments of Advisory Council or Governing Board meetings.
The iEARN Arabia Governing Board
Sets general policies which
guide the day-to-day operations of iEARN Arabia and is made up
of directors of programs in the Arab World currently including
Egypt, Lebanon and Morocco will also include selection of
financial partners who commit to long-standing support of the
program. |
